Cash is a dynamic, hard hitting linebacker for Lake Oswego High School, known for his exceptional field awareness, quick decision-making, and relentless pursuit of the ball. A leader both on and off the field, he brings intensity and passion to every snap. His strength, agility, and tackling ability make him a key playmaker for his team’s defense.  He loves football and to compete. He has a very strong work ethic on the field, in the weight room, and in the  classroom. He has good size and D1 genetics due to his dad who played football at Nebraska and his mom played basketball at Portland State.

As a freshman last year, he was voted as Defensive Player of the Year and also Most Inspirational Player. As a sophomore he was in the varsity LB starting rotation along with special teams starter and made an impact in the playoff run to the state championship game. Whether stopping the run, dropping into coverage, or blitzing the QB, he consistently delivers impactful plays. Off the field he is committed to his academics and currently has a 3.4 GPA and is interested in majoring in business/economics.

His goals are to be a full time starter, leader, and dominant presence on the Lake Oswego defensive as a junior this fall. He wants to lead the Lakers to the State Championship after finishing second last year. He also has a goal to play college football and become the greatest version of himself as a player. He always has the mindset that he is the best player on the field and loves the pressure moments. He wants to be remembered as one of the greatest LBs to come out of Oregon and show everyone in the country what type of player he is.
